Synthesize and analyze the implications of Globalization for the functional areas

Understands the impact of globalization but is not able to accurately identify the implications for each functional area. Able to synthesize the impact of globalization in all the functional areas accurately but does not analyze cross functional issues. Analyzes the impact of globalization on each area and also understands and succinctly presents the cross functional issues as they may relate to globalization. Paper in BA 7950, simulation in BA      

Trace trends in Globalization and anticipate possible future trends

Understands history of globalization but is not able to project these to the future. Able to project some trends at the industry level but is unable to project them at macro level. Understands and presents the history as well as anticipates future trends and its impact at company, industry and macro economic levels. Paper in BA 7950.      

Quantitatively relate the effects of globalization

 

Understands but is not able to execute quantitative methods in the study of Globalization. Understands and executes some quantitative techniques but is not proficient in all of them. Understands and executes complex quantitative methods related to the global economy. Spreadsheet analysis in BA      

Understand the role of ethical values and practice in organizations.

Understands the role of ethical values but is not able to accurately identify the implications of management decisions and practices. Able to identify some implications of management decisions and practices, but fails to recognize the holistic effects. Able to identify all implications of ethical management decisions and practices on the individual, organization, and society.    

Apply ethical decision frameworks to business problems.

Does not thoroughly understand ethical decision frameworks. Understands ethical decision frameworks, but can not Able to apply ethical decision frameworks to make decisions.
