Describe the historical underpinnings of modern economic theory

Superficial understanding of the role of historical basis of economics in modern theory.

Understanding of the evolution of economic theory is somewhat shallow and rote. Unable to draw many inferences between history of economic thought and modern theory.

Connection between research question, methodology and results is poorly communicated. Presentation has grammatical errors, is poorly organized.

Research question, methodology, results are fairly clear. Presentation is, for the most part, appropriate and accurate.

Clearly articulate research question, methodology and results. Well-organized presentation includes appropriate exposition, grammar, presentation skills.

Demonstrate ability to synthesize modern economic micro and macro theory to address real-world issues.
